Help homebound seniors and spread some extra joy this holiday season!
Volunteers are asked to pick-up care packages from Region IV Area Agency on Aging and help deliver them to homebound seniors in Berrien County.
Addresses for delivery will be provided at box pick-up times. Boxed items will be left on porches if recipients are not available to answer the door. These boxes include items that will come in handy during the winter months. Your donated time and generosity will bring cheer throughout the holiday.
Box pick up will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10-Friday, Dec. 13 and Monday, Dec. 16 at the Lynn & Freeborn Kellogg Campus for Creative Aging, 2920 Lakeview Ave., St. Joseph.
Volunteers are then asked to deliver boxes to their designated homes within about 10 days of pick-up. Deliveries can be made between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. to the convenience and schedule of volunteers.
Background checks will be required and completed by the RIV AAA prior to scheduled pick-up days. Please complete this fillable Background Check Authorization form and upload it below, along with a photo of your ID, or email both to breannaboyd@areaagencyonaging.org.
Please sign-up by Thursday, Dec. 5.
