Information Line for Aging & Disability

When you call the Info-Line for Aging and Disability you’re well on your way to accessing resources, services, and programs available to older adults and adults with disabilities in southwest Michigan.

Our professional, highly trained Information & Access Specialists can help you determine what services are available to obtain the support you need to continue to live safely in your own home; we serve Berrien, Cass, and Van Buren counties.


You can obtain free, and confidential information on:

  • In-Home Care
  • Medicare/Medicaid
  • Housing
  • Meals
  • Transportation
  • Financial assistance, and
  • Nearly everything of importance to older adults and their families
  • Information & Access Specialists also answer questions about eligibility requirements for a number of Medicaid programs, including the MI Choice Home and Community Based Waiver and more.

Resource Hub

Area Agency on Aging’s Resource Hub is a place to go to get accurate, unbiased information on all aspects of life related to aging or living with a disability. This friendly, welcoming place is where anyone – individuals, concerned families or friends, or professionals – can go for information tailored to their situation.

The Resource Hub has a comprehensive collection of aging, disability, and caregiver resources. Stop by the Hub at 2920 Lakeview Avenue in St. Joseph or call the Aging and Disability specialists on the Info-Line for Aging and Disability at (800) 654-2810.

Information and Assistance staff can be accessed via:

  • Appointment: Call (800) 654-2810 to schedule an in-person meeting during normal business hours. (A limited number of walk-in appointments are available throughout the day so our team can answer the phone live as much as possible.)
