Outreach

Representatives of Area Agency on Aging are available to come speak to your club, group, organization or business. Presentations can be made to groups of 10 or larger from 5-60 minutes. Every effort will be made to accommodate your meeting date/time.

Presentations are done free of charge on a variety of topics to help promote Area Agency on Aging and spread awareness of the programs and services we offer. Topics can include but are not limited to:

  • General Agency Overview (any amount of time)
  • Caregiver Resources (15-25 minutes)
  • Dementia Friends Training (60-90 minutes)
  • Ageism Awareness (35-45 minutes)
  • Volunteer Opportunities (15-25 minutes)

For smaller groups and/or other community resources, you may request bundles of print materials, like our Who, What & Where Guide.

In addition to making presentations, Area Agency on Aging frequently attends resources fairs, expos and other community events to connect with the community and share information.

For all outreach requests, please contact Alexandra Newman, communications and outreach coordinator, at alexandranewman@areaagencyonaging.org or by calling 269-408-4369.
